Responsibilities:
Ability to be the professional online face and personality of Penn Foster to our prospects and large student body. Knowledge of and ability to utilize social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and more. High activity of posting, reading and maintaining these interactive outlets. Ability to communicate and brand Penn Foster on a constant basis to current students and potential future students. This job will also require interacting with intra-company customers as well.
The Social Media Content Manager will have a great idea of trends, themes and the “pulse” of the student body online. Taking this information to the appropriate departments and finding answers will allow you to be the Penn Foster “subject matter expert” in our official forums.
Requirements:
Degree in Marketing, Communications, Entrepreneurship, English or a related field. Experience utilizing social media for marketing purposes or experience in viral marketing utilizing interactive web content. Ability to interact on a daily basis with a diverse user group. Professional demeanor, language and presentation online and off. Experience with all social media channels, forums and message boards, blogs, etc. Proficient in HTML/CSS, Photoshop and Dreamweaver.
